aaah! i’m not the only one with an Empires tattoo! :D LOVE IT!
mine was supposed to be in Sean’s handwriting, but it’s…..um, not that legible, so i refrained.
This is my first and only tattoo freshly finished by Brooke Cook from Lucky Bella Tattoos in Maumelle, Arkansas. I was pretty scared going in, but the atmosphere at the shop was amazing. I felt right at home, and obviously Brooke did a perfect job! I got this tattoo to cover up some regrettable scars, and picked the bird because of the colors and to honor my grandmother. I just love it :) a great first tattoo experience for me
my newest addition…an audrey kawasaki piece :) done by my fav..christel at sol tribe tattoo in denver. i absolutely adore her, she does amazing work!
This is my third tattoo and it was done by Nathan Palmer at Cloak and Dagger tattoos in Dayton, Ohio. I couldn’t be happier with it :)
Honestly, before my idea had completely formed of what I wanted for a tattoo, I knew hands down I wanted John Biswell to create, compose and complete it. I’ve followed John’s work throughout the years, seeing countless gorgeous, original pieces on many friends and close acquaintances, and was so excited to see his shop, Made-Rite Tattoo & Clothing Co. appear in the heart of Portland, Maine’s Old Port.
I knew that I yearned for an aesthetically exciting and colorful piece placed roughly around or near my midsection, as I am a bellydancer, and am lovingly committed to showing and highlighting my midsection on the regular. I automatically booked an appointment to sit down with John Biswell, as I have been continually impressed by seeing on countless occasions, aesthetically gorgeous visuals to come out of such vague requests, such as “something colorful, exciting and around my midsection.” After about a year of planning with John, the idea of a “piece around my midsection” bloomed into a completely original work created uniquely for my body, beautifully enhancing my individual shape.
I honestly trust John’s eye, artistic ability and knowledge so much that after it was decided the rough idea of what I wanted, I left the rest completely up to him. This was the best decision I’ve ever made concerning a tattoo. It came out absolutely perfect, breathtaking and completely original. This piece is so uniquely John Biswell, from the directional curve of every feather to the most elaborate of color combinations.
I have such an appreciation for John Biswell as an artist, visionary and person. He is an absolute pleasure to work with, and I absolutely recommend him to all those looking for a completely unique, clean and custom piece of artwork!
*rawr* super pretty.

i have no clue how this is a real tattoo! looks like someone painted watercolor on her. amazing. truly amazing.
Look at his arms!!! LOOK AT HIS ARMS! I interrupted my studying (and his date) to nerd out and ask him if I could take a pic. He told me about the surgeries he had on one arm and I shared my goldfish snacks with his lady friend. I was so excited I forgot to even ask their names! (Taken with instagram)
this is also AMAZING!
